MARLBORO, Mass.—Evergreen Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: ESLR), a manufacturer of solar power products with its proprietary, low-cost String Ribbon™ wafer technology, today announced that it will release its first-quarter 2007 financial results after the market closes on Tuesday, April 17, 2007.

Management will conduct a conference call at 5:00 p.m. (ET) that evening to review the Company’s first-quarter financial results. The conference call will be webcast live over the Internet.
