Evergreen Solar to Host Third-Quarter Conference Call on November 5, 2009

MARLBORO, Massachusetts (October 22, 2009) -- Evergreen Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: ESLR), a manufacturer of STRING RIBBON™ solar power products with its proprietary, low-cost silicon wafer manufacturing technology, announced today that it will release financial results for its third-quarter ended October 3, 2009 after the market closes on Wednesday, November 4, 2009.
Management will conduct a conference call at 8:30 a.m. (ET) the following day, Thursday, November 5, 2009. The call will be webcast live over the Internet and can be accessed by logging on to the "Investors" section of Evergreen Solar's website, www.evergreensolar.com prior to the event.
